Abstrak :
Abstarct: the objective of the study is to improve students’ speaking skill by using stimulation
technique. As a teaching technique, simulation can present language in context so that it can
facilitate students to practice and understand the language that they are learning like in
everyday life. In simulation, students must work in group. Each student has a role and must
build communication with the others. In this case, students can practice their English and
improve their speaking skill covering pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and
communicative competence. Related to the objective of this study, the research method used
is classroom action research. In the beginning of the research, it is known that students of the
class 02 PBI, FKIP UNISRI in the second semester have some difficulties in speaking
covering  pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and communicative competence. The
classroom situation is also not conducive. The students are then taught by using simulation
technique. At the end of the study it is know that simulation can improve the quality of
technique and learing process. It is known from the classrom condition that become more
conducive. The result of quantitative data analysis that is supported with qualitative data
analysis shows that simulation also improves students’ speaking skill.
