Abstrak :
The aim of this article is to increase society's awareness of the impact of
early marriage at the village level in order to prevent stunting and
failure in the Family Planning program in Blumbang Village, Klego
sub-district, Boyolali Regency. During the Covid-19 pandemic, there
was an increase in the number of early marriages taking place in various
regions including Boyolali Regency. The partner of this program is
posyandu volunteer women of Dukuh Blumbang and Dukuh Glagah
Ombo, in Blumbang Village. The problems are 1)lack of public
awareness to implement government policies regarding the minimum
age for marriage for women which is 19 years old; 2) lack of public
awareness, especially who are still classified as couples of childbearing
age to visit posyandu or communicate with posyandu volunteer women
related to health and nutrition; 3) lack of public knowledge to follow
Family Planning program; 4) lack of posyandu volunteers to go to
couples of childbearing age. The methods used are 1) making
observations; 2) socialization; 3) the implementation of activities that
are divided into four steps. Activities held from October 2021 to January
2022 showed positive results. The team found the enthusiasm of village
officials, posyandu volunteer women, early marriage women, mothers
who experienced unsuccessful Family Planning program, and parents
of stunting, in socialization, education, and supplemental feeding
activities. However, this activity still has challenges in overcoming the
impact of early marriage, especially stunting and increasing baby births
comprehensively and integrated with village development planning in
order to achieve a more optimal result.
