Abstrak :

ABSTRACT

This research is entitled Study of NPK fertilizer types and plant populations on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L) from seed (True Shallot Seed). This study used a completely randomized block design (RAKL) method which was arranged in a factorial manner consisting of two factors, namely the type of NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely M0: without fertilization, M1: NPK Mutiara, M2: NPK Phonska, M3: NPK mixed with Urea, SP 36 and KCl and plant population consisted of 2 levels, namely J1: population of 50 plants/plot, J2: population of 20 plants/plot so that there were 8 treatment combinations, each treatment was repeated 4 times. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova) and if there was a significant difference it was continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. From the results of the study there was no significant difference between the treatments for all the observed parameters. The highest yield of tuber weight per plant was in the M3J1 treatment of 179.25 gr and the lowest in the M0J2 treatment of 148.25 gr.
